A very nice and well maintained hotel , a typical Marriott hotel that is, it is right next to a mall with so many shops to go to as well as the terraces where you can enjoy food and certain restaurants to suit your taste buds. The security for this hotel was great, the cards and cabs that go through undergoes a thorough inspection by guards, which assures guests of security and safety inside the hotel. The rooms are spacious and stylishly furnished as one would expect from a Marriott hotel. The pool however is quite small and is situated near the dining area , so not much privacy when you use the pool. Standard amenities for this hotel are cable tv, broadband internet, though you have to pay for it when you want to access. The restaurant is quite nice and the food is as well as what is expected from a four star hotel.

One of the guests said “Great Hotel” , when he reached the hotel at early morning , he was given the room immediately , which impressed him on the staff’s prompt service. Then again, the security for the hotel has been lauded for the exceptional security measures done. Staff was helpful and courteous at all times. The location however is not an ideal one if you want to go to a beach to unwind, it takes about 20 to 30 min. away for the nearest and acceptable white sand beach to be at. Rooms at this hotel has a separate living area for children to stay in , which are comfortable for them and spacious as well. They also provide great entertainment as well as nice seafood buffet and cook them to your liking. The hotel is also just a striking distance from a mall where you have a wide array of choices if you do not want to go ahead and at at the hotel.

Shangri-La Hotel situated in Mactan Island, Lapu-lapu City in the province of Cebu Philippines. “The service was exceptional”. With the location being quite far from the bustling city of Cebu , provides you a place where you can relax and enjoy every moment of stay at this hotel. It is a hotel that is situated in the beach front , resto bars with different themes and beautiful rooms. Breakfast buffet is enormous but at times crowded, discovered the healthy chi spa which provides massage and the tea pavilion which serves tasty yet healthy options for those who are a health buff. Shuttle service is available for a fee in case you need to go to the mall to do some shopping, it is situated at least 30 min. in one of the largest malls in the city. The resort provides certain activities for kids , the pool and the beach as well as the great playrooms for the kids to have during the day. The pools however has no spot for a shade, so you have to smear your kids with sun cream every now and then since they are constantly exposed to the sun.

About the beach, though it looks wonderful but the sand quality is a bit rough which hurts quite a bit on your feet, the children also got allergic reactions from the beach, might as well let your kids stay close to the sea to make sand castles. Throughout the grounds, there are small huts with massage tables in them, when having a massage, as you lay back , you can see colorful petals floating in the water, this is a very nice experience unlike others where you will be staring on the floor or some concrete slab. When you do exercises on the treadmill, the fitness instructor occasionally comes by and hands you an icy cold towel soaked in subtle lavender for a refreshing feeling. The staff is very courteous , you can literally see smiles with everywhere you go as they put on a happy mood. Each staff in the hotel takes pride in what they do and provides greater guest experience making it worthwhile.

One of Arizona’s leading family vacation getaway is the Arizona Grand Resort , situated in Phoenix Arizona, it is a 740 suite hotel which has an 18 hole golf course , spa, a huge water park and a large 117,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space. The resort is located at 8000 S. Arizona Grand Parkway , Phoenix. Seventy six percent of the guests has recommended it to others out of the 126 reviews made for this resort. “Simply amazing” , according to one guest who stayed at the resort, food was impeccable, staff service was very great , guest has highly recommended staying in one of the villas in the resort.  According to an 80 year old guest who stayed at the hotel , they were having a family gathering at this resort and the rooms that they have were first class, the kids enjoyed the movies and the water park. While the guest did not play golf, he had a very great experience with the breakfast that the resort served at their Lobby Grill. Since the resort is quite big, the guest took advantage of the shuttle services more often , they had some quiet time in a patio where the staff serves them food.  Every encounter that they have with the staff was a professional, friendly and most helpful encounter.

“The management and the staff of the hotel consistently displayed a warm welcome atmosphere that is guest-centered”, exclaimed one customer. Every staff member of the resort sure knows how to treat a guest very well. The accommodation that the hotel has are fantastic, comfortable beds and pillows, the suites were spacious, singapore restaurants guide and there is hot shower!. The Oasis Water park is perfect if you are travelling with kids , they enjoyed the slides, wave pool and the lazy river. One of the guests at the hotel listed the positive and the negative experience that he has.

Positive :

• Package deal of $100 / night can be used for golf, spa and meals
• Excellent water park
• Location, it is centrally located in Phoenix which is very accessible

Negative:

• Service quality experience was mixed, the front desk / check-in and check-out counter were unanswered for at least 2 min. and the waiting time on the Grill Lobby was very long which translates to lack of staff.
• Golf course, they do not have enough room for 18 holes, so they packed them so tight to accommodate
• Parking area is too small, they have very limited parking space, you have to watch for a parking space or you can have the option to go valley parking at the lobby and walk to your suite.

Colindale hotel is a Victorian design house situated in Chelston edge of Torre Abbey grounds with an astounding view of lakes, gardens and walks and is only a few meters away from the beach for some time to relax. Their services includes a FREE wireless internet access, some hotels charge their guests for internet access. They have been recently awarded Four Gold starts for guests comfort by Frommers Guide in the USA. From the hotel, a lot of places are accessible if you need anything, it is about 200 yards away from the railway station, and fifteen minutes away from the hotel are marina, theater and the harbor including wonderful shopping malls.

According to the reviews by http://tripadvisor.com, 88% of the customers highly recommend the hotel to other guests both for pleasure and business purposes.  A guest comment “I found the Colindale hotel well presented, friendly and excellent place to stay.”  Guests rate their room, location of the hotel as well as the service up to 4 stars , with 4 being the highest. One of the primary complaints of a guest though is being awaken by a night owl in the middle of the night, but as the guest said, he / she cannot blame the owner for that. The warmth welcome of the host, along with his staff and the luxurious surroundings makes the Colindale hotel one of the first class places to stay in London. It is also convenient for all local amenities and quality restaurants.  “Barry is an excellent chef and you can savor his cooking served in such lovely surroundings” according to one guest.  To summarize, overall comment by most of the guests, they highly recommend the Colindale hotel for everyone who seeks quality time and a place to stay for value of what you are paying for. Hotel staff and owner is a very hospitable person, topped with clean rooms and nice view of the sea and gardens and the landscapes.
